So, the theme was a cowboy party since that was really the theme for Austin's first year. You may have seen his nursury as I was decorating back before he arrived last year, and his room is cowboy all the way. Pretty cute! For the party, Mom and I put together some table decor using Big E's boots as flower vases, and then added some bandanas for a little extra flare. I love to decorate and get ready for a party.
This was the dining room....
And this was the kitchen table....
Austin had just woken up from a 3 hour nap as his guests started to arrive, and at first he wasn't quite sure what to think about all of the attention....

Austin LOVES to crawl on the stairs these days. This is him with Morgan helping him along and Jackson at the top....Their cute Momma is Jenny at the bottom of the picture. And Paige, my sister, is in the green dress.
Austin had some more friends in the dining room like Bob and Paula, Nonna and Papa, and his Aunt Daphne and Uncle Wilmer back in the far corner.....
This little one is Jake (Amy Jumper's middle one)......he REALLY wanted a cupcake!
And here is Amy and Mike with their newest addition, Jensen, with Jenny sitting on the floor. Austin's Uncle Adam (orange shirt, Paige's husband) is watching Austin on the stairs......
Pretty soon, it was time for the cake! So, we stripped Austin down to his birthday suit, and he was very excited to be wearing it!

I think I like parties! (And yes, he is strapped in in this photo ;o))

And then came the big moment....(Auntie P made Austin's cute cake)Wait for it.....wait for it.....

After Austin was cleaned up, he opened his new gifts.....
These are some of Austin's new friends, Kate and Ellie. Aren't they precious!?!
