Crickets?

Hi friends!
Ok, so I know I've been a bad blogger lately and it's been pretty quiet around here. I've been busy this summer, what can I say! Not too much downtime since we don't have MDO, MOPS, and we've been out of town quite a bit. So since I'm trying to get back in the swing of things, I've decided to do a blog makeover! My friend Hollie (Miss Drama Mama herself) is helping me out with my makeover to give me a little boost in the blogging department....add a little zest, ya know? I wish I was good at all of that design stuff, but it seems my talents lie elsewhere. Anyway, check back soon as I'm hoping it won't be long before I/we look new and improved!

Ok, so back to what we've been doing! This summer, we went to Palm Springs with our friends, the Embry's, then we spent a few days out in Branson with the Lackey side of the family out at Tablerock Lake, and somewhere in there we made a trip down to the hill country to see family and friends in Horseshoe Bay and Fredericksburg. Ah yes, and the Dude was there all along! He had his first plane ride as we went to Palm Springs back in the beginning of July. Whew! Crazy madness. Then he had his first boat ride toward the end of July at Lake Tablerock. Many firsts around here! (more to come on that later) I'll try to post some pics on all of this soon. ;o)

For now, I wanted to post my cute pics from the splash park the other day! My friend Emily invited me to join the usual crowd, and since Austin had never been all summer, we gladly accepted. Thanks for the invite! We had a great time!

Here is the whole gang...oh...minus Cambry, Kennedy's little sister. Kennedy is in stripes, Haley is in light pink next to Austin, then Jack is next to Austin and his big sister behind him is Olivia with the cute shades. Jack and Austin were checking it all out. Jack is 1 month younger than Austin.Another cute pic of the group. Thanks again for the invite!
