Traumatized

Ok, not really, but this first haircut thing is rough! Ernest needed a haircut last night, and since Austin has school pictures next week at his MDO program, we all made a trip up to Great Clips. The ladies there seemed very nice to begin with as I explained what I wanted....."just clean it up a little. He has school pictures next week. Maybe just trim over the ear and even up the top." Simple enough, right? Her expression showed understanding.....comprehension.....even had a smile!

And then......she got out the clippers!!!!!

Austin did NOT like the clippers!

This child has the thinnest hair ever and it is so blonde it just about matches his white-boy skin tone. So, now he looks nearly bald!!!

Austin didn't seem to mind once it was all over and he got that lollipop! The drool started to flow and off he went. For me, it will take a little getting used to.
